At this point it’s safe to say we’re BIG fans of Brooklyn’s Crumb here at TMR. With every track they’ve released so far proving itself to be another golden nugget of accomplished psych-jazz-pop, the rising quartet are showing no signs of weakness on ‘Fall Down’, the pumping fourth single from their imminently arriving debut album Jinx. Starting with a banging ‘boots and cats’ drum beat, the highly-compressed production on ‘Fall Down’ wouldn’t see it out of place on Tame Impala’s seminal 2015 album Currents. With songwriter/vocalist Lila Ramani’s intoxicating melodies and stunning laid-back delivery elevating the track to dizzying new heights, soft synth pads and a subtly groovy bass line fill out the mix.
